''Eres muchos hombres.

ICON is, basically, about icons, about male role models in the broader sense of the adjective, because ICON is each and every man that we have inside. But ICON is much more than a simple magazine for men. Its reading also catches female interest. Style, voyages, architecture, technology, culture, society… well-written articles and carefully chosen pictures turn ICON into something more than a fashion mag.

For those who haven’t taken a look to the magazine yet, ICON shows up with an icon of elegance, the actor James Franco (accompanied by an exclusive interview), and article which closes the first number by a literary icon, Eduardo Mendoza. In the inside: Carlo Scarpa, Girls and Orange is the new black, Cameron Diaz, Istanbul, Lagerfeld… 196 pages that will catch you since the first look.

The presentation of the magazine took place at the Círculo de Bellas Artes, in Madrid, and there were many famous people that didn’t want to miss the event. For its promotion, ICON chose a selected group of actors: Andrés Velencoso, Pablo Rivero, Eduard Fernández, Paco León and Carles Francino.

You can get the magazine for free the first Thursday of each month with the newspaper El País, and also in every kiosk from the next day on for 3 Euros. There’s also the online version clicking on the following link:

Isabel Marant pour H&M

No, no he desaparecido!

No, I haven't disappeared!

These last two months have been exhausting. I've started a course in Madrid and the early waking ups, the classes and the acumulated tiredness have left me no time to post anything. But I've come back and I hope doing it more frequently.

I didn't know very well about what to write in this post, but taing into account that this week the Isabel Marant pur H&M presentation took place, I think it is a good idea to talk about it.

Isabel Marant is a fashion house that was born in 1994, founded by the French designer Isabel Marant, and that currently has 10 shops in the world and retailers in more than 35 countries. Marant's ability to turn her designs into musts in any closet has made her union with the big firm H&M one of the most expected ones.

This week it took place the presentation party of the collection and, as usual, many Spanish celebrities didn't lose the chance of getting a Marant. if you wish to know more about the party, just click on the following links:

Hundreds of people didn't want to lose the opportunity as well of getting a Marant, queueing since very early in the morning wishing to achieve their beloved prize.

We're getting used to H&M lowxury collections with big designers. Who will be the next one?

And what about you? Do you already have your Marant?

PONMO | Pontevedra Moda

Summer is officially over. However, September does not only mean fall, but also fashion. Among dozens of fashion weeks all over the world with the latest for the next S/S 14, in this post I want to introduce you to PONMO.

PONMO is, in a few words, the 2.0 version of the disappeared Pontus Veteris, with the exception that PONMO is a lot more. It is true that Pontus Veteris, which took place in Pontevedra every year, had became quite obsolete. PONMO is totally different and it is born with a more current image and a more ambicious attitude.

Within this new meeting point for all of us that enjoy fashion, young designers are the main focus of attention. More than seventy Spanish designers have sent their micro-collections to the judges, but just 12 of them have been finally chosen. Among these 12, the MARAPONMONOVO contest will choose the best micro-collection, which will be composed of 6 totally timeless outfits. The judges will also choose the best outfit of them all.

Experienced designers will also have their chanceto. ALALÁBaenaDioxideGonzalo Vázquez (GV)HipotenûsaNicanora and Krack will show their creations at PONMO, which will close the catwalk with a tribute to Gene Cabaleiro.

But that's not all. PONMO also oofers showroomsworkshops and activities all over the city. One of them is the exhibition of the photographer and also friend of mine, for photographied me in several occasions, Marcos Suárez. His firs exhibition, 'Dual', can be seen the next 26, 27 and 28 at the Liceo Casino (C/ Manuel Quiroga, 21), in Pontevedra.

There is a new event in Pontevedra this week that you must not miss the next 26, 27 and 28. If you wish to know more about it, just visit PONMO official webpage.
