Porque escribir bien es de guapis | La Vecina Rubia

No es la primera vez que os hablo de ella (AQUÍ), y me da a mi que a este paso tampoco será la última. Detrás de ese pelazo y de una chupa amarilla de Zara, se esconde toda una influencer. Conocida por frases como ''Madrugar es de guapas'', ''Me estoy haciendo ilusiones y me están quedando preciosas'' o ''Me precipito de la vida'', también mantiene una relación con el modelo internacional y producto made in Spain Jon Kortajarena (él sí que es modelo internacional y no el friki de Quién quiere casarse con mi hijo).

Me gusta La Vecina Rubia por varios motivos. Es divertida, es amable y educada con todos los que le escriben (y son muchos) y le encanta escribir bien. Y esto último os puede parecer una tontería, pero yo también soy bastante tiquismiquis con la ortografía. Me parece algo esencial y creo que cualquiera que haya recibido un mínimo de educación puede hacerlo. No sé por qué la gente se empeña en seguir escribiendo como si no hubieran ido nunca al colegio.

Llevo ya bastante tiempo siguiendo a La Vecina Rubia en las redes sociales, y se podría decir que la he visto crecer. He visto como sus followers no paran de crecer, como verificaban sus cuentas en las RRSS, he seguido paso a paso desde el primer momento su tórrido romance con Jon, y he visto como poco a poco se ha ido convirtiendo no solo en un fenómeno de masas, si no en toda una empresaria. 

Camisetas con sus frases más populares, carcasas para móviles, libretas y hasta una agenda que no para de agotarse en todas partes (si os metéis en TANTANFAN podéis haceros con todas esas cositas, !y muchas más!). Pero lo último que ha sacado me parece una auténtica maravilla. Bajo el nombre ''Escribir bien es de guapas'' y en colaboración con Wiko, La Vecina Rubia ha lanzado una app para resolver todas nuestras dudas ortográficas, en la que incluye, entre otras opciones, juegos, sus famosas consultas a la RAE o rubitips. Hasta ahora solo está disponible para Android, habrá que esperar unos días para que los usuarios de iOS podamos descargarla. Por cierto, ¡es gratuita y no tiene anuncios!

Ya veis que esta chica no para. Si es que con alegría y un poco de purpurina se pueden hacer grandes cosas.

This is not the first time that she appears in this blog (HERE), and I'm sure this won't be her last. Behind her beautiful hair and her Zara yellow jacket, there's a massive influencer. She's very well known for quotes such as ''Madrugar es de guapas'', ''Me estoy haciendo ilusiones y me están quedando preciosas'' or ''Me precipito de la vida'', and she's also in a relationship with the Spanish international model Jon Kortajarena. 

I like La Vecina Rubia for several reasons. She's fun, kind and very polite with all of those who comment on her posts everyday. And she also enjoys writing properly. You may think that this is something silly, but I'm a little bit obsessed with orthography too. Anyone with a basic education can do it. I don't know why people keep on writing as they'd never been to school. 

It's been quite a while since I follow La Vecina Rubia in all of her social networks. I feel like I've seen her growing up. I've seen how her followers keep on rising, her social networks getting verified, her romantic affair with Jon since the the beginning. She's become not only a huge mass phenomenon, but also an amazing entrepeneur.

She's launched tees with her most famous quotes written on them, phone cases, notebooks and even a diary that keeps on solding out everywhere (if you visit TANTANFAN you can get all of her stuff and many more nice products!). But I think that the last thing she's launched is just wonderful. It's called ''Escribir bien es de guapas'' and, together with Wiko, they've created this app to solve our othographic doubts. The app includes, among other things, her queries to RAE, games and also some tips. For now, you can only get the app if you have Android, but within a few days, it'll be also available for iOS. By the way, it is totally free and doesn't include spam!

This girl does not stop. She's the living proof that with joy and some glitter, you can do great things.

Los ''top models'' las prefieren rubias...

Vamos a ver por dónde empiezo... Creo que nunca había estado tan nervioso a la hora de escribir un post! Pero es que todo lo que está pasando en el universo #Rubijarena es muy fuerte y tenía que desahogarme contándolo por aquí!

Por un lado, desde que tengo el blog siempre había querido dedicarle una entrada a Jon Kortajarena. En verdad no sé por qué no llegué a escribirla cuando hacía la sección Model of the Month. Cualquiera que me conoce sabe que es mi modelo favorito. Lo sigo en todas las redes sociales. De hecho, el es uno de los pocos famosos a los que acoso sigo...

Por otro lado está La vecina rubia, a la que sigo desde hace algún tiempo. Ella encarna esa vecina que todo el mundo quisiera y debería tener y esa rubia que a todo el mundo le gustaría como amiga. A su manera, es toda una influencer, en el mejor de lo sentidos. Solo necesita su chupa amarilla y un puñado de ilusiones (que por cierto, siempre le quedan muy bonitas) para hacer del mundo un lugar un poquito mejor. Tiene tropecientos mil seguidores en las redes sociales. Es divertida, pero sin reírse a costa de nadie. Y aunque sea rubia, es muy lista. Lo mismo te habla de su pelazo como de política. Sus consultas a la RAE son súper útiles (o debería decir superútiles?), y está muy comprometida con las causas sociales, al igual que su novio, Jon, reciente embajador de Greenpeace.

Su historia de amor ha salido hasta en el HOLA, pero vayamos por partes. Ya que hablo de Jon, os voy a contar (muy brevemente) un poquito de su vida y carrera. Es de Bilbao (los del norte somos de lo mejorcito que hay, a las pruebas me remito), tiene 31 años y su madre (que es guapísima, todo hay que decirlo) es la única que le corta el pelo (perdón, el pelazo). Es el modelo español masculino más internacional. Armani, Galliano, Cavalli, Gaultier o Ferragamo son solo algunas de las grandes casas para las que ha trabajado, por no hablar de Tom Ford, para el cual no sólo ha trabajado como modelo si no también como actor en su primera película, A Single Man. Puedes verlo como actor en la serie Quantico interpretando el papel de Félix y también en el último largometraje de Eduardo Casanova, Pieles. Como os había dicho, Kortajarena es nuevo embajador de Greenpeace. Como amante de la naturaleza que es, ha iniciado una campaña para luchar contra el cambio climático en la que nos anima a firmar para salvar nuestro mundo (puedes firmar haciendo click AQUÍ). Veis? Tanto Jon como la vecina rubia han sido noticia últimamente. Lo que empezó como un flirteo inocente se ha convertido en el romance de este año. Sus seguidores, ansiosos por un poco de salseo, estamos deseando cómo sigue evolucionando su relación. Hay mucho envidioso que dice que lo suyo es mentira, o que Jon solo le sigue el rollo, pero yo estoy totalmente convencido de su amor!

Let's see if I can focus, 'cause I hadn't ever been so nervous before writing a post! The thing is that everything that's happening within the #Rubijarena universe is so exciting that I felt the need to write it down!

On one side, since I started writing this blog, I've always wanted to publish a post about Jon Kortajarena. Actually, I don't really know why I didn't do it when I had the section called Model of the Month. Anyone who knows me is conscious that he's my favourite model. I follow him in every social network. In fact, he's one of the few famous people that I stalk follow...

On the other side, there's La vecina rubia (the blonde neighbour). I've been following her since quite a while. She's that neighbour that everyone would like to (and should) have and she's also that blonde woman that anyone would wish to have as a friend. She could be considered an influencer, in the most positive way. She only needs her yellow biker and a bunch of dreams (which, by the way, are always really beautiful) to make the world a better place. She has thousands of followers. She's fun without hurting anyone. And, even though she's blond, she's so smart. She can talk about her great hair and easily change the subject and talk about politics. Her queries to the RAE are really helpful and she's quite committed to social causes, the same as Jon, who's a recent ambassador of Greenpeace.

Her love story appeared even in the Spanish magazine HOLA, but let me talk about Jon first, I promise I'll be very brief. He's from Bilbao (those who are from the North of Spain, like me, are really worth it), he's 31 years old and his mother (who is really beautiful, truth be told) is the one with permission to cut Jon's hair (sorry, Jon's great hair). He's the most international Spanish male model. He's worked for great fashion firms such as Armani, Galliano, Cavalli, Gaultier or Ferragamo, and these are just a few. His relationship with Tom Ford is beyond great. Jon's worked for him as a model and also as an actor in Tom's first film, A Single Man. You can see Jon as an actor at Quantico's TV show as Félix and also in the last Eduardo Casanova's film, Pieles. As I told you, he's the new ambassador of Greenpace. He loves nature so much and that's why he's decided to start a fight against climate change. If you wanna help him to save the world, you just have to click HERE and sigh. Both Jon and la vecina rubia (the blonde neighbour) have appeared in several social media lately. What started as an innocent flirtation, it has turned into the gread romance of this year. Their followers are looking forward to seeing how their relationship evolves. There're so many jealous people who say that what they have is a complete lie, or that Jon is just going along with her, but I'm completely convinced that their love is real!

Modelos & Vídeos Musicales & Viceversa

No es ninguna novedad el hecho de que los cantantes recurran a modelos famosos para que participen en sus videoclips y ya de paso darle un valor añadido... sólo basta con googlear ''modelos en videoclips'' para que os salgan cientos de enlaces con este tema. Pero yo os traigo un breve resumen con algunos de los que más me gustan, ya sea por la estética del vídeo en sí o por la producción que supone.

1) Girl Panic! de Duran Duran es uno de mis videoclips favoritos, entre otras muchas razones, por incluir a las tops que, a mi parecer, han formado parte de la mejor generación de modelos que ha existido, la de los 90. Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Helena Christensen, Yasmin Le Bon y Eva Herzigova se transforman en los propios Duran Duran en un vídeo lanzado en el 2011 y que intercala entrevistas con la ''banda'' e imágenes de su día a día:

2) La incombustible Madonna se rodea de chulazos en su vídeo Girl Gone Wild... y no nos extraña que se vuelva ''wild'' con todos los modelos que la acompañan, considerados entre los mejores modelos del mundo. Jon Kortajarena, Sean O'Pry, Simon Nessman, Rob Evans y Brad Alphonso acompañan a Madonna en su camino hacia lo salvaje en este vídeo del 2012:

3) Shaun Ross es un experto en videoclips. Este modelo albino, del que ya os he hablado en un post (AQUÍ). Ha salido en dos videoclips de Beyoncé (Party y Pretty Hurts), en el short film Tropico de Lana del Rey y en este de Katy Perry que podéis ver a continuación, en el cual Shaun surge de un robot y se enamora de Katy, una extraterrestre con patas de cabra:

4) Jennifer Lopez, por la que no parece que pasen los años, grabó este vídeo con otro guapazo internacional del que también se ha hablado en este blog. David Gandy (AQUÍ) protagoniza un tórrido romance con Jennifer Lopez, y es que la latina no es tonta y siempre sabe rodearse de buenorros para sus videoclips (bueno, y cuando no se trata de sus videoclips también). Aquí tenéis el vídeo de First Love por si aún no lo habíais visto:

5) A Sean O'Pry parece gustarle lo de salir en videoclips y en este caso repite con Taylor Swift en Blank Space, uno de los últimos vídeos de la cantante (que ya supera los 800 millones de visitas en YouTube). En este vídeo Taylor es una chica adinerada que vive en una mansión y con una colección de amantes que bien podría ser un guiño a su vida amorosa real. Cuando todo parece ir de color de rosa, a Taylor se le cruzan los cables y se vuelve como una cabra.... Mejor que veáis el vídeo:

6) Bad Blood es el último vídeo de Taylor Swift en el que podemos ver muchas caras conocidas entre las que se incluyen cantantes (Selena Gomez o Ellie Goulding), actrices (Lena Dunham o Jessica Alba), pero sobre todo modelos, muy amigas de la ex-cantante de country por cierto. En este vídeo todas parecen formar parte de un súper grupo de heroínas, muy del rollo X-MEN, en el que sin duda Taylor (alias Catastrophe) parece ser la líder. Como os dije al principio, esto solo es un pequeño resumen de todos los vídeos con cameos de modelos que podéis encontrar por internet. Hay algunos muy míticos, como el de Naomi Campbell en el vídeo In The Closet de Michael Jackson, o los que que tienen a Kate Moss como protagonista, que es toda una experta en esto de salir en videoclips. De todas formas, me encantaría que en los comentarios me pusierais cuáles son vuestros favoritos (no tiene que ser ninguno de los que veis aquí por supuesto).

There's no novelty the fact that many singers make use of famous models to appear in their music videos so they can give them an added value... you just have to google ''models in music videos'' and hundreds of links will appear. Though I bring you a brief summary with some of my favourites, sometimes because of the aesthetics of the video per se or because the production that it implies.

1) Girl Panic! of Duran Duran is one of my favourite music video, among many reasons, because it includes the tops that, according to me, are part of the best generation of models that have ever existed, that od the 90s. Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Helena Christensen, Yasmin Le Bon and Eva Herzigova transform themselves into Duran Duran in a video released in 2011 and which alternates interviews with the ''band'' and images of their daily lives

2) The fireproof Madonna gets surrounded by hot male models in her video Girl Gone Wild... and it's obvious that she gets wild with all those models next to her, considered to be some of the best in the world. Jon Kortajarena, Sean O'Pry, Simon Nessman, Rob Evans and Brad Alphonso go wild with Madonna in this video of 2012 

3) Shaun Ross is an expert appearing in music videos. This albino model, who has already appeared in this blog (HERE), has participated in two Beyoncé's videos (Party and Pretty Hurts), in Lana del Rey's short film Tropico and in Katy Perry's music video that you can see above. In that video, Shaun emerges from a robot and falls in love with Katy, an alien with goat legs instead of human legs

4) Jennifer Lopez, who  I think has made a pact with the devil, recorded this video with another hot international male model who has appeared in this blog too. David Gandy (HERE) and Jennifer are protagonists of a hot romance. This latin artist is smart enough to get sorrounded by hot guys for her videos (well, and not only for the videos). Enjoy her First Love music video in case you haven't seen it yet 

5) Sean O'Pry seems to like appearing in music videos and he repeats the experience this time with Taylor Swift in Blank Space, one of the latest videos of the singer (a video with more than 800 million views on YouTube). In this video, Taylor is a wealthy girl who lives in a big mansion and with a collection of lovers that could be a faithful coparison of her real love life. When everything seems to be perfect, Taylor gets completely mad... but you better watch the video!

6) Bad Blood is the latest Taylor Swift's video in which we can see a lot of famous faces such as singers (Selena Gomez or Ellie Goulding), actresses (Lena Dunham or Jessica Alba) but, above all, a lot of models, very close friends of the ex-country singer by the way. In this video, all of them seem to be part of a super group of heroines, an X-MEN sort of thing, with Taylor (aka Catastrophe) as the leader. As I said at the beginning, this is just a little summary of all the videos that include models and that you can find on the internet. There're some that are a treasure, like Michael Jackson's In The Closet with Naomi Campbell, or all the music videos with Kate Moss, who is an expert on this issue.
