innumerables campañas jugando con su sexualidad y como si de una auténtica
mujer se tratara, llegando incluso a realizar anuncios de sujetadores push-up.
Elevó la androginia a un nivel superior y se convirtió en el
ojito derecho de muchas marcas. Entre algunos de sus trabajos más llamativos
están el de lucir un vestido de novia de alta costura sobre una pasarela para
Jean Paul Gaultier; ha posado desnudo para Mario Testino; ha hecho de chica
junto a Tilda Swinton en el videpclip The stars (are out tonight) de DavidBowie; también ha llegado a figurar en la lista de las 100 mujeres más sexies
del mundo que la revista FHM publica cada año…
Yo reconozco que me quedé bastante asombrado cuando me
enteré de su cambio de sexo. Hasta donde tenía entendido, Andrej Pejic era
heterosexual y tenía novia. Pero por lo visto sabía que algo pasaba desde los
13 años y al fin, desde este mes ya no es más Andrej Pejic, sino Andreja Pejic.
La pregunta ahora es, ¿seguirá teniendo el mismo éxito con
su carrera? Un hombre haciendo de mujer tenía su chica, pero modelos
transexuales ya hay unas cuantas, como por ejemplo: Carmen Carrera, Valentijn De Hingh, Ines Rau, Lauren Foster, Amiyah Scott, Jenna Talackova, Amelia Maltepe, Fiona Solis, Teri Toye o Thalita Zampirolli.
Lo que sí está claro es
que como mujer es un bellezón y, lo más importante, que me alegro que por fin

Pejic, but Andreja Pejic.
The question
now is, will she have the same success? A man acting like a female model is kinda
curious, but there are already a few transgendered models, such as Carmen Carrera, Valentijn De Hingh, Ines Rau, Lauren Foster, Amiyah Scott, Jenna Talackova, Amelia Maltepe, Fiona Solis, Teri Toye or Thalita Zampirolli. One thing
is clear, as a woman, Andreja is such a beauty and, the most important thing, I’m
so glad she finally feels good about herself and happy with her body.
