And the Oscar [doesn´t] go to...

I wasn't completely sure if I was going to publish this post, but I guess that in order to appreciate the good stuff,  we also have to take a look to those things that are ''not so good''. So, here it is my choice of the looks from the Oscars 2014 that I consider they weren't good enough (I'd include more, but these will be sufficient). Of course, this is my opinion, and although in general the dress code level at the ceremony was pretty high, some guests didn't make the right choice in terms of their dresses.

What do you thin? Do you agree with me? :)

Here we have four clear examples that the excess is always bad. Jewel dresses are fashionable, but it'd be convenient to choose the right jewel dress, and Julie Delpie (1), wearing Jenny Packham, and Jennifer Garner (2), wearing Oscar de la Renta, didn't make a good choice. On the other hand, Portia de Rossi (3), wearing Naeem Khaan, chose too much geometry, and all that black doesn't look good at all on Glen Close (4) .

Those three women exemplify clearly what a tough issue is to choose a dress that creates a good breast, even if you have too much or too little. Cristin Milioti (1), wearing Reem Acra, chose a dress with a colour and a neckline that didn't fit her. It is really ok to be a woman with curves and it is even better to highligth a good bust, but don't do what Alfre Woodard (2) did, as she picked a Bagley Mischka that maked her bust a little bit ordinary (and don't wear sandals either!). And what about Liza Minnelli (3)... too 'electric' with that blue, and better not to talk about the effect that the passing of time and gravity cause...

I'm a huge fan of Emma Watson (1) and I almost always like her outfits, but I have to disagree with this Vera Wang. Maybe it's the colour, or the siloutte that the dress creates, but she could definitely have done it better. Anna Kendrick (2) and her J. Mendel is also a big failure. Even if you do an ''Angelina'' at the red carpet, that dress doesn't fit you at all.

And finally, the pregnat ladies. I have nothing to say about Olivia Wilde, who wore a simple but very elegant black dress which also highlight in a very beautiful way the shape of her belly. Although, Elsa Pataky (1), wearing Elie Saab, and Kerry Washington (2), wearing Jason Wu, chose dresses that didn't look good at all on them. It's ok that you want to be ''sexy moms'', but don't lose your taste...
